The answer
KNAVE
What knave means
A dishonest or unscrupulous person; a rogue or scoundrel who acts with deceit and lack of integrity.
Where the word comes from
From Old English *cnafa*, meaning a boy or young man, later a male servant. The word descended from Proto-Germanic *knabôn*. Over time, as servants and lower-class workers were often associated with dishonesty and trickery in medieval literature, *knave* came to mean a deceitful or dishonest person. In playing cards, it also refers to the jack, from the image of a servant on the card.
