Will this page tell me today's Wordle answer?
Only if you ask for it. The default view gives you progressive hints — vowel count, double-letter check, first and last letter — each behind a click. The answer itself is gated behind one final 'just tell me' button.
Why hints instead of just the answer?
Most people who search for 'wordle answer today' actually want a nudge, not a spoiler. The streak survives, the puzzle still feels won. The full answer is here for the days you really need it.
How accurate are the hints?
They're computed from the official NYT solution, fetched once per day from the same JSON endpoint the official Wordle game uses. If the hints are wrong, the answer is too — but neither has happened yet.
What if I want a starting word I can type into Wordle?
That's what the home page is for — pick how many guesses you want to use, and we hand you a single five-letter word that reveals exactly enough information to solve it.
When does the page update?
The new puzzle goes live at midnight Eastern and we publish its hint shortly after (05:10 UTC). The page revalidates hourly as a backup, and if the daily job is ever late it shows the previous day's word clearly labelled rather than going blank.
